EKFA has set high standards in industry by pioneering Kettlebells in majority clubs.
Parag Mhetre, head coach at EKFA is India’s first Kettlebell Ambassador, who introduced full fledged Kettlebell training & introduced Kettlebell sport on national scale.He started promoting Kettlebells in India since Aug 2011. He also takes the privilege to introduce Kettlebells in India army at Army Institute of physical training center in Pune, INDIA.
We hand pick our instructors who train in various regions of India to ensure the correct science, form and training techniques are delivered.
EKFA is proud member and affiliated too with WAKSC (World Association of Kettlebell sport club) saint petersburg, Russia. EKFA is part of World grand prix – India which happens in India in the month of Jan. We are associated with WAKSC with technical know-how as head coach Parag is certified Level 3 (only in India/Asia) from Ketacademy, Russia.
EKFA Courses with Exercise science and academy (ESA) based in Bandra Mumbai has 15 CECs and are approved by ACSM. We conduct 1-2 courses in year for fitness trainers, physiotherapist or any fitness professional to help upgrade knowledge in Kettlebells. The CECs applicable only through ESA.
EKFA Associated with Body power fitness expo since its inception in India. BP Expo is biggest expo in UK and since 5 years EKFA Organises National Kettlebell Championships and EKFA Kettlebell Games (Kettlebell strong man and women contest) in fitness expo. Our events get over 100 athletes participating all over India and from Asia.
EKFA Kettlebell Course’s recommended by B.S.E.S (Bachelor of sport and exercise science) of D.Y.Patil University (School of Medicine) and Kettlebell as subject being added at module of foundation at the Dept of Physiology.
